The outdoor games area has undercover table tennis, badminton and a children's play area. Paddle boards, boats and kayaks are available for use on the lake.

Bala Lake Watersports Centre is 1.5 miles away. Swallow Falls is 27 miles (approx. 40 minutes). Dolgellau is 18 miles (approx. 30 minutes). The Mawddach Trail to Barmouth starts at Dolgellau.
